Center for Regenerative Medicine, CRM

Central to aging and regenerative medicine are the molecular mechanisms underlying stem cell self-renewal and differentiation. The focus of Center of Regenerative Medicine (CRM) is to illustrate which and how intracellular signaling network and extracellular microenvironment influence the properties of embryonic stem cells, somatic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells during cell lineage determination and organ development. We endeavor to fulfill the “Bench to Bed” approach via establishing and optimizing systems for stem cell expansion, targeted differentiation and transplantation toward effective stem cell therapeutics.
